Thank you for visiting CERPhotos. My name is Charles Rodriguez. I live in Burbank, California, and most of my work involves event photography with an emphasis on school programs, performing arts education, and live performances. You can access all of my galleries from the "My Photographs" drop down menu at the top of the home page.
I created this site primarily as a way to share my work with the parents and students of the programs that I photograph. I have found that many parents are frustrated at not being able to get a high quality print of their child performing in a show. I wanted to provide a way for them to have that, and for them to have a tangible keepsake of a special moment in their child's life.

I was caught by surprise when I received such a positive response and genuine appreciation from so many parents. I found I not only enjoyed taking photos of my child, but I also discovered a real passion in capturing the raw emotions and excitement that children of all ages have when they perform live on stage.
I also realized that I had developed a deep, personal satisfaction in being able to give parents and families a glimpse into their child’s experience that they may not have been able to see. A picture may only capture a split-second in time, but sometimes the right moment can create a powerful image that will live forever in our memories.
